III Festival - competition, from the organizers of the most famous festival in Georgia

The competition performance and the final gala concert will take place in the resort city of Antalya, on the Mediterranean coast, at the State Concert Hall of Antalya. This festival will serve as a powerful impetus for the creative development and professional growth of its participants, offering extensive opportunities and promising future prospects.

ANTALYA is the land “where the sun laughs”.

Antalya It was 2,000 years ago... King Attalos II of Pergamon commanded his finest horsemen: "Go and find a place on earth that will make me the envy of all kings and rulers! Find a place that no one can tear their eyes away! Go and find me Paradise on earth!"
Knowing the difficulty, if not the impossibility, of the task, the horsemen set out on their journey. Days, months passed, but nothing around resembled the place their master had described. Finally, at a crossroads now called Cubuk Beli, the gates of paradise opened to them.
The evening was frozen with enchantment... At the foot of snow-capped mountains, surrounded by the greenery of pristine forests, silver shores melted in the fire of the setting sun and the endless, indigo-colored sea!
Descending the Taurus Hills, they felt captivated by the abundant colors of the heavenly plains. They saw incomparable natural beauty and were convinced that they had finally found paradise. The horsemen galloped back to the king and announced, "We have fulfilled your command! We have found paradise!" The king wanted to see everything with his own eyes. The horsemen pointed the way. Upon seeing the place, King Attalus agreed that this was exactly what paradise should be like and ordered a city to be founded there. In a short time, the people of Pergamon built a magnificent city in this beautiful place and named it "Attaleia" in honor of their ruler.

The competition features ensembles and performers from various countries: Spain, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Finland, and Italy.

This festival will serve as a catalyst for creative development and professional growth for participants, offering them significant opportunities and prospects.

You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and talent. You’ll compete against high-level ensembles from 15 countries.


The performances will be judged by a super-star jury, not just a professional one!


We, the festival organizers, have prepared an engaging program, exciting tours, and plenty of surprises for you. And of course, the festival is an opportunity to make new friends and enjoy a fun festival experience in Turkey.

The festival's goals and objectives are:

1. To strengthen international ties through art and culture and introduce the younger generation to international friendship.

2. To preserve folk traditions and pass on cultural heritage to the younger generation.

3. To stimulate creative activity, identify and develop young talent.

4. To bring peoples closer together and foster the interpenetration of cultures.

In each nomination and age category, Laureate titles of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree, as well as Diploma Winner titles, are awarded.

The jury awards: The Festival Grand Prix!

A special prize from the festival organizers! The Audience Choice Award! Special diplomas and prizes, according to the jury, are awarded in the following nominations:

"Festival Discovery," "For Artistry," "Youngest Participant,"

"Best Performance," and "Originality of Performance."

If there are no worthy contenders for the Grand Prix or prizes, these places will not be awarded!

The Gala Concert program will be determined by the director and production team based on the jury's decisions.

The decision of the international jury is final and cannot be changed!

The winning groups and individual performers will receive many attractive offers from the festival founders regarding participation in festivals and competitions held by our partners abroad.


Participation Conditions - Festival Nominations:

The competition is open to children's and youth groups and individual performers aged 5 and up in the following categories: vocals, choreography, instrumental genres, fashion theater, pantomime, photography, and art.

I. Vocals - classical, folk, pop, jazz, classical, rock, rap, soul, musical, and original song.

1. Solo;

2. Duet, trio, quartet, quintet;

3. Choir.


II. Choreography - folk dance, folk-stylized dance, ethnic dance, pop dance, classical ballet, ballroom dancing, modern, jazz, neoclassical dance, dancesport: techno dance, electro-bugi, street dance, hip-hop, break dance, disco, pop locking, K-pop, etc.), "Flamenco"

1. Solo;

2. Duet, trio, quartet, quintet;

3. Ensemble.


III. Instrumental genre - folk, classical, jazz, percussion ensembles, guitar ensembles, jazz ensembles, chamber orchestras, accordion and bayan orchestras, folk instrument ensembles, vocal and instrumental ensembles. Piano, wind and percussion instruments (trumpet, oboe, clarinet); Folk instruments (bayan, accordion, guitar, plucked string instruments, gusli, dombra); Bowed string instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass, kobyz); Pop instruments (electric guitar, electric bass guitar, keyboards, percussion, drums), Rock bands.

Competition requirements:


Each performer (soloist, duet, trio, etc.) must submit one competition composition of 3 minutes in duration, and choreographic groups must submit two competition dances (of the same style) up to 6 minutes each. If a group performs one folk dance and the other modern, they must pay for an additional entry fee. Theatrical performances must be a maximum of 20 minutes in length. All compositions must be recorded on a flash drive and emailed to the festival organizers in advance at geofestival2023@gmail.com.

Backup copies of the tracks are also required!

Each audio recording must be on a separate flash drive with the title of the piece, the name of the ensemble, the name of the performer, and the length of the piece. In the application, please indicate whether the pieces should be split or performed as a single block.

Also, indicate whether the piece should begin (with a period or a curtain). Please include the first and last names of the festival participants and their supervisors in your application. These names must be printed on the diploma in English. If you make any mistakes in your completed applications, your diplomas will not be reprinted!

You must also include your technical rider, email address, and phone numbers (Viber, WhatsApp)!

During the competition performances (vocals), both vocal ensembles and soloists are prohibited from using backing tracks!


All participants perform the song with a backing track. Soloists may use recorded backing vocals that do not overlap the main melody. Duets and ensembles may sing without recorded backing vocals.


MANDATORY!!!!! Technical issues regarding the connection of musical instruments and equipment must be agreed upon with the sound engineer in advance!

And include all requests in the technical rider!

Each participant (Artist and Photographer) must submit no more than two competition entries, no larger than A3.

Techniques for execution vary;

Themes for photographers vary.

  • The organizers reserve the right to take photos and videos during the
  • contest and distribute them.
  • The directors are responsible for the health and safety of their contestants.
  • Applications for participation in the competition require acceptance of the "Competition Regulations."
  • Contestants travel to the Republic at their own expense.
  • All matters not specified in the "Regulations" are resolved by the competition organizers.
  • The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the competition program.
  • Participants will be notified of changes to the competition program on the official Facebook pages: GeoFest or TeamTravel
  • no later than one week before the start of the competition.
  • Notify the organizers of any changes to the competition program no later than three weeks before the start of the competition.
  • After this, the program will not be changed!

We set off on an exciting journey on the
"Pirate Ship" (Lunch on board).
A memorable excursion offered by the crews of "pirate" ships offers not only a wealth of experiences but also a chance to briefly immerse yourself in ancient times and experience the thrill of sailing across the vast Mediterranean Sea.
From aboard the ship, you'll be able to admire the breathtaking slopes and cliffs of the cape, crowned with fortress walls and towers, explore an ancient shipyard, and see the remains of an Orthodox monastery on cliffs inaccessible from the shore. You'll be shown the entrances to secret caves where pirates stored their plundered treasures and where they hid VIP prisoners awaiting ransom. Stops await you at beautiful bays where you can swim in crystal-clear waters. Highly qualified animators will organize fun contests and plenty of music!

PARTICIPATION TERMS (INCLUDES):

1. All transfers during the festival.

2. Organizational fee for the main group category.

3. Hotel accommodation for 5 nights/6 days (3-4 bed accommodation in hotel rooms).

4. For groups of at least 25 participants, one double room is provided at no extra charge.

5. A free seat for the group leader according to the 25 + 1 group size.

6. Three meals a day – ALL INCLUSIVE.

7. Animation show at the hotel and on the beach.

8. Diplomas for groups, letters of thanks, official invitations for groups, gifts from the organizers for all festival participants and leaders, and participation in all festival-competition events, including entertainment programs.

  • Excursions not included in the festival package are subject to additional fees.
  • Individual transfers are also subject to additional fees.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Groups attending the festival are required to pay us 50% of the total cost of their chosen package six weeks before the festival, and the full amount 20 days before arrival! Once payment has been made, and any member of the group fails to arrive for reasons beyond our control, we will not issue refunds. After transferring the specified amount, please email us a copy of the bank transfer receipt to team.travel@mail.ru.

You can also make a 100% prepayment if desired!


P.S.: If a group arriving at the festival leaves trash on their buses, leaves dirty dressing rooms in the concert hall, damages government property in the concert hall, or damages property in the hotels represented by the festival, the group will be required to pay a fine equal to the amount of the damaged property, as determined by the hotel and bus owner and the government concert hall's price list, which the groups will be familiar with prior to their arrival at the festival.


The application deadline is 30 days before the festival!

ATTENTION!

The following is a mandatory requirement for participation in the festival:

1. The performance program must be approved by the festival director.

2. Your musical accompaniment must be sent

to geofestival2023@gmail.com and brought to the venue on a flash drive on the day of the competition and gala concert.

Groups and soloists who violate this rule will not be allowed to participate in the Festival.
